Design & Prototyping
Diener Implants offers considerable practical experience in cooperation with research and development teams to assure significant cost savings early in the design process as well as during the entire project. Our high level of engineering support results in substantial time savings throughout the complete project. We offer rapid prototyping for demonstration purposes, regular prototyping for qualification testing and small-scale manufacturing for clinical trials and market evaluations.
Diener Implants is one of the pioneers offering additive manufacturing services to the medical device industry. Diener Implants works with SLM machines to manufacture 3D printed implants according to customer requirements. Furthermore, we work with latest, high-precision CNC machining centers, which meet the most complex production requirements. We use multi-axis CNC turning centers to manufacture various bone screws for small and large orthopedic and spine surgical procedures. On high-end, 5-axis CNC milling centers, Diener Implants is able to produce various fusion and non-fusion implants. Our first-class machinery guarantees the precision and perfection of our contracted products. Our highly-qualified staff and up-to-date equipment provide lower total costs and shorter production times.
According to customized requirements, Diener Implants provides a substantial range of post-processing. We offer a variety of user-specific surface treatments, like bead-blasting. Regular electropolishing, constant ultrasonic cleaning and an automated passivation system (nitric and citric passivation) guarantees the first-class quality of our manufactured medical devices.
Diener Implants provides further post-processing to complete your medical device. These procedures include assembling of instruments and sets, laser marking for easy identification and labeling, including Unique Device Identification (UDI), for traceability. We also provide final packaging, which includes both unsterile packaging in-house or sterile packaging with certified partners.
